URBAN IMAGINATION

take a street

anywhere

stick a person

there

a bit of shade

or blinding light

floating dust

floating snow

settled mud

a hat

a veil

a dog

a cat

a llama

perhaps a lunghi

a coat

a sand-drift

floating mud

unsettled cobble-stones

echoes

of a motor-bike

a child

the past

a dream

a sound-drift

from a bar

a church

a temple or mosque

more echoes

arriving and retreating armies

a shoe-shop

a rat

a scream

piles of garbage

excrement

the words of priests

echoes of our past

inheritance

floating dust

floating snow

our echoing

word-drift

inheritance

inheritance
